After a successful career in the building and remodeling industry, and many client requests for specialty cabinets and custom tables, Indigo Wood and Metalworks was formed under the direction of Don Augstein. Don's passion for design and fine detail, working with wood, metal and sometimes colorful glass is the inspiration. He is a craftsman, artist and designer of custom tables and outstanding cabinetry. He creates wood and metal works of art that are individual, functional, and compliment their new environment.
As one of the founding members of Art Works Gallery Co-op in historic downtown Grass Valley and a member of High-Hand Art Gallery in Loomis, several of his designs are shown at these galleries.
