Don Augstein  After a successful career as a general contractor in Marin County, Don M. Augstein began Indigo Wood and Metalsworks (IWM). Don is an artist, craftsman and furniture designer.  His passion for design and fine detail; working with wood, metal and colorful glass are the inspiration that brought IWM to life. Don makes custom tables and cabinets that are individual, functional, and compliment their new environment; a welcome addition to your lifestyle.

Don works one on one with clients from concept to installation. Whether it is living room or kitchen cabinets, home or office tables, you will be pleased with the beauty, graceful lines and livability of your masterpiece.

Don is one of the founding members and serves on the board of directors of Art Works Gallery Co-op in historic downtown Grass Valley. Several of his pieces are shown at the gallery. He is a member of Nevada County Arts and also a master member of The Baulines Craft Guild in San Rafael.
